Unauthorized Credit Card Charges by OnStar

Green Welling is investigating OnStar’s business practices. OnStar is an emergency assistance subscriber service installed in select vehicles manufactured by General Motors Corporation. Some consumers have been billed for OnStar’s $16.95 monthly service charge either after they cancelled their subscription or when they never signed up for OnStar in the first place. In some instances, consumers purchased a GM vehicle and were offered a free trial subscription to OnStar; however, when the trial finished and the consumer elected not to become a subscriber, the OnStar subscription charge appeared on their credit card statement anyway. If you purchased a GM vehicle with OnStar, accepted a free trial of OnStar’s service, or are a former OnStar subscriber, you should check your credit card and bank statements for unauthorized charges. If you were billed for unauthorized OnStar charges within the last 40 days, please fill out our web form by clicking here. We will consider disputing the unauthorized charge on your behalf.
